2012Wellington's 19th Annual Children's Holiday Fishing Classic
The awards and fish tales follow from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place (based on the total weight of fish caught & released) in each age group: 6 & under; 7-9; 10-12; and 13-15.Each child entering will receive a free tackle gift from Gander Mountain of Palm Beach Gardens. Come out and enjoy the day courtesy of Wellington Parks & Recreation Department and the Royal Palm Beach Parks & Recreation Department. Rods & Reels are available for use, courtesy of the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, an event co-sponsor. Bait is provided with live worms from Gander Mountain of Palm Beach Gardens and bread from Publix at the Courtyard Shoppes in Wellington. Trophies are courtesy of Visual Images. The fishing tackle award prizes and the many door prizes are provided through a donation from Wellington Professional Centre and Gander Mountain of Palm Beach Gardens.
