Wellington’s Chief Information Officer Named One of the Top IT Leaders

“In the face of the past few years of economic turmoil that for many meant budget cuts and staff downsizing, these 100 men and women continued to innovate and deliver measurable business value,” said Scot Finnie, Editor in Chief of Computerworld.

Amburgey will host a discussion table on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Computerworld IT Leaders Conference in Palm Desert, California and will be formally recognized the following evening at Computerworld’s Gala and Honoree Recognition Reception.

“It’s an honor to join past recipients from The New York Times, American Red Cross, Library of Congress and Walt Disney Studios as a Premier 100 IT Leader,” said Amburgey. “My goal has always been to provide cutting-edge technology services to improve Wellington for its residents.”

About the Premier 100: Computerworld, the worldwide leading source of technology news and information for IT influencers, established The Premier 100 in 2000 to spotlight individuals who have a positive impact on their organization through technology. Computerworld uses its IT Leader Index to analyze how closely each nominee matches its definition of an IT leader.
