2012Vanilla Ice Headlines WinterFest on Dec. 2nd
Celebrity Wellington resident Robert Van Winkle, also known as Vanilla Ice, is back by popular demand as the headline performer at Wellington’s WinterFest 2011. This free and exciting event will be held on Friday, December 2nd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wellington Amphitheater located at 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard.
In addition to Vanilla Ice, WinterFest will include a reading of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas by Wellington Mayor Darell Bowen, Wellington’s annual holiday tree lighting, a visit from Santa, a salute to the troops, music and dance performances by local talent, business expo, crafts and shopping, food, refreshments and much more!
Residents are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program and Vanilla Ice’s Toys for Tots 6th Annual Charity Block Party.
