Hometown Holiday Food Drive
Residents can drop off food donations at Wellington's Safe Neighborhoods Office, located at 1100 Wellington Trace, from November 11th through November 19th. Additional drop-off boxes are located at Wellington's Administration Office, Community Center, Planning & Zoning, Village Park and Wellington Walgreens locations.Wellington is collecting the following food items: instant mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables (green beans, peas, corn, and sweet potatoes), packaged stuffing, turkey gravy, cornbread mix and muffin mix.
Additionally, Wellington is partnering with Christ Fellowship volunteers to deliver prepared meals to individuals who are not able to cook a Thanksgiving meal. If you know a Wellington resident who may need a turkey dinner or would like to make a donation, please contact Wellington's Safe Neighborhoods Office at (561) 791-4796 or (561) 791-HRWN (Helping Residents with Needs).
