2012HOMETOWN HOLIDAY WEEKEND
The weekend begins at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 3rd with the official grand re-opening of the Aquatics Center. Admission is free and complimentary food and beverage tickets will be handed out between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. There will be plenty of fun, give-a-ways and raffles to win free summer passes.
Join us later that afternoon to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Wellington Amphitheater from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This event is being produced in partnership with the Palms West Chamber of Commerce and is being sponsored by the Schumacher Family of Vehicles. The event includes bounce houses for the kids, performances by local community groups, and plenty of food, drink and music throughout the day. The evening features a concert by special musical guests Brass Evolution beginning at 7:30 PM and concludes with a spectacular laser light show at 9:30 PM.
On Sunday, July 4th, the festivities continue with Wellington's Independence Day Celebration at Village Park from 6:00 PM. to 10:00 PM. There will plenty of fun, food, bounce houses, family games, field activities and more. Musical guests Rumor Hazit will be performing beginning at 6:00 PM. The evening concludes with the always spectacular fireworks display at 9:15 PM.
